DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY PROGRAM IN HEALTH TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT


Program objectives

At the end of the course graduates will have knowledge and be able to:

  1. Become a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) researcher with good moral and ethics in conducting research and using HTA evidences.
  2. Be able to integrate HTA knowledge to critically appraise HTA evidences for supporting health policy decision makings.
  3. Create advance and/or large scale HTA research integrating in planning HTA research projects.
  4. Build up HTA team capacity with effective leadership, team management, and interpersonal relationship for a HTA research project.
  5. Apply advance statistical/economic evaluation modeling and information technology to HTA research properly, as well as to effectively disseminate HTA research evidences.
